360° AERIAL DRONE FILMING

Fully immersive 360° aerial capture combining specialist drone filming with over 12 years of 360° filmmaking expertise. Available for projects across the UK and internationally.

What 360° Aerial Filming Can Do

The applications for 360° aerial filming are wide ranging. Property and real estate, where placing a potential buyer inside an aerial view of a location is far more compelling than showing it to them from a distance. Tourism and travel, where the viewer can experience a destination from the air in full 360°. Events, where aerial 360° capture places the viewer above the action looking in any direction. Brand and commercial films where a dramatic aerial 360° sequence adds a genuinely cinematic dimension.

And because all footage is captured in 360°, every aerial shot can also be reframed in post production into conventional flat video, giving you a standard aerial shot and a fully immersive 360° version from a single flight.

The Equipment

I fly the Antigravity A1, the world's first dedicated 8K 360° drone. Unlike conventional drones with a fixed forward facing camera, the A1 captures everything in every direction simultaneously using dual 180° fisheye lenses powered by Insta360 technology. The drone itself is designed to be invisible in the final footage through an advanced stitching algorithm, meaning what the viewer sees is pure immersive aerial 360° footage with nothing in the way.

Weighing just 249g the A1 falls below the 250g threshold, which means it can be flown in a wide range of locations including residential, commercial and industrial areas with minimal restrictions. Maximum flight altitude is 120 metres above ground level, in line with UK CAA regulations.

Why 360° Expertise Matters in the Air

Anyone can fly a drone. Getting genuinely useful 360° aerial footage requires understanding the medium from the ground up.

Knowing how the 360° image will feel to a viewer, how to plan a flight path that creates a compelling immersive experience rather than just an aerial view, how to manage the reframing process in post to extract the best conventional shots, and how to integrate aerial 360° footage with ground level 360° content these are things that come from years of working exclusively in 360° filmmaking, not just from being able to fly a drone.

A Growing Service

360° aerial drone filming is a newer addition to my services and one I'm actively developing. If you have a project that could benefit from aerial 360° capture, I'd love to discuss it. Early adopters of genuinely new creative capabilities tend to get the most interesting results.

A New Dimension of Immersive Filming

Conventional aerial drone footage shows you a view from above. 360° aerial drone footage puts you up there. The viewer can look in any direction simultaneously, experiencing the full environment from altitude in a way that flat aerial video simply cannot replicate.

This is a genuinely rare capability. Very few filmmakers anywhere in the world currently offer dedicated 360° aerial filming as a professional service. Combining the creative and technical demands of 360° filmmaking with the operational requirements of drone flight requires a very specific set of skills and the right equipment to deliver results worth having.
